OPEN NIGHTS – JAN/FEB/MAR 2012 – WEDNESDAYS FROM 7:30PM
We
need your support to make these successful!
We’re
excited to introduce a new concept this year, with Wednesday night social tennis
evenings open to club members and the public.
The first one kicks off on Jan 25th, followed
by Feb 29th
and
March 28th. These evenings will consist of social tennis,
free nibbles, open bar (EFTPOS available), spot prizes, onsite coach and demo
racquets.
Our
aim is to encourage new adult members to the club, so please help us promote
this by putting up a flyer at your workplace, local shops, or anywhere else you
can think of – print it from our website at http://www.gtc.org.nz/documents/open_night_flyer.pdf
And
of course, the more existing members who take part,
the more successful the evenings will be.
So come along and bring your friends/family/neighbours/workmates, and
work off that Xmas excess with some fun tennis.
CLUB DAYS - 2012
Midweek
have already started for 2012 – Thursdays from 9:30am.
Seniors
will restart on Sunday 22nd Jan from 1pm
(NOTE: No club days are scheduled for Anniversary
weekend or Waitangi weekend). Another
good reason to support our Wednesday night Open Night on 25th Jan
(see above)
Juniors
will restart on Saturday 4th Feb from 8am
MEMBERS
HANDBOOKS – OUT NOW
Our
Members Handbooks are filled with useful information about the club, how we
operate, and how you can get involved.
It also contains contact numbers for the committee, coaches, club
members, Tennis Northern and other clubs.
It’s a handy little reference to throw in your tennis bag, so make sure
you pick yours up at the club next time you’re there.
Thanks
to the Service Line Pro Shop at Albany for their advertising, and Pauline
Jenkins and Alliance Printing for producing the handbooks free of charge. Please support these businesses if you can.
Also thanks to Liesel Hanson, our administrator, for
pulling the book together for us.
